Camp Enterprise is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Brighton, Campbellford, Cobourg, Colborne, Havelock, Northumberland Sunrise and Port Hope.

The camp offers its participants an intensive three day "hands-on" experience in free enterprise. Since 1986 Camp Enterprise students have annually, and actively, participated in a variety of workshops ranging from labour relations negotiations to running a corporation.

Apart from assisting in the initial planning of the three day exercise and recruiting students from our local high schools as participants, Port Hope Rotary Club's involvement takes place on the third day when the camp participants are divided into two teams - labour and management. One team is provided with management profile information and the other with union profile information and based on this nformation it is expected , if possible, that by the end of the day they can come up with a collective agreement beneficial to both parties.
